✨ [ABOUT THE WORKSHOP] ✨
Experiential Intro to Perinatal Art Therapy for Allied Professionals
Join Sharon Itkoff Nacache, ATR-BC, LCAT, LPAT, PMH-C, for this experiential workshop introducing allied professionals to the use of art therapy within perinatal trauma treatment. Participants will receive a brief overview of art therapy for perinatal populations and then experience the benefits of creative expression firsthand through an introduction to the Open Studio Process, a powerful non-clinical approach to art-making within a safe and supportive community space.
✨ Please note: This workshop includes discussion of perinatal trauma and experiential creative reflection. Participants are encouraged to engage at the level that feels most supportive and comfortable for them. In order to co-create a safe space for self-expression in community, Sharon is recommending participants be prepared with headphones, cameras on, and basic art supplies handy like several pieces of blank paper and their favorite drawing instruments. No artistic experience is necessary to participant, just an open mind toward the process!
