This workshop explores the profound emotion, physical, and relationship impacts of perinatal loss. Participants will learn how grief and trauma can affect mental health, identity, and relationships. Through gentle education and reflection, this workshop normalizes diverse grief responses and acknowledges the often-invisible nature of this loss. The workshop also offers compassionate insight and language to better understand and support the ongoing effects of perinatal loss.

​​This is an educational workshop focused on antidepressant use and perinatal mental health. It combines evidence-based education with practical guidance to help participants understand the risks and benefits of medication during pregnancy, navigate depression and anxiety, and confidently collaborate with their healthcare providers to make informed decisions.

Q: What if I don’t want to be on camera or participate?

​No problem. You can change your name on Zoom if you’d like, too.

Q: Will the workshop be recorded?

​Yes, this workshop will be recorded.

Q: Does this count as therapy?

​Even though this workshop will be led by a physician, it is educational in nature and is not intended to replace individualized medical care, therapy, or mental health treatment. Participating in this workshop does not establish a physician-patient relationship or any other provider-patient relationship.

Q: I’m a provider. Will I receive CEUs?

​Dalila Solis is a psychotherapist specializing in supporting new mothers, “new-again” mothers, and mothers navigating life after loss (a maternal near-miss survivor and the mother of four angel babies herself). She is deeply passionate about walking alongside women through the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. Her work includes supporting those experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, infertility, perinatal loss, and birth trauma. Dalila believes healing happens best in a space rooted in safety, trust, and compassion. She honors each client’s lived experience—allowing healing to unfold at their own pace.
