Workshop Description: This workshop takes trauma-informed care principles into the intake process, which is a rich meeting point of theory and nitty gritty technicality. There will be tangible, practical takeaways from this talk that you can carry into your process of meeting, getting to know, and completing intake for a new client/patient across a variety of professional contexts.

About Olga: Olga Montgomery, LCSW, is a radically compassionate grief and loss therapist. She practices process-based functional contextualism and weaves ACT, DBT, IFS, narrative, and humanistic approaches into whole-person, client-centered, trauma-informed care for women feeling lost and wounded in grief. Olga is passionate about the hard, worthy work of meaning-oriented behavioral change, which she embraces as a private practice owner/therapist and as a mom, wife, and fellow human being. She resides in Central Virginia with her spouse, 3 critters (1 toddler, 2 fur), and sprawling garden.
